bedsheets I slept withfull project on request
The bed has always been a safe space in my house. It’s somewhere where I lie in silence, staring at the ceiling while wandering inside my mind for hours, where I curl up after a long day or when I feel unmotivated. It’s a space to cry, dream, fight and let off steam — my bed knows all of my thoughts and feelings.

In the past few years, I’ve found myself sleeping in different beds every month, whether because I’m visiting family, friends or travelling. Over time, I started feeling safe in beds other than my own, establishing a bond with each one of them. My safe place wasn’t just in my house anymore, it could now be anywhere — a space where I could let myself go every time I needed to.

Bedsheets I Slept With is a collection of photographs taken after spending the night, giving value to the unique shape I created with the sheets, moving my body and thoughts inside them.
